About
I was thirteen when I took up the interest of painting. I used to go out on my parent's three-acre property and pick wild flowers, prop them by my paper or canvas, and paint what I saw. That's how I remember my real passion beginning for translating what I saw in the world through an art medium.
Through my studies, teachings, and work, I am learn to communicate. I am able to discuss issues and concepts that important.
I enjoy working with paints, pencils, pens, ink, charcoal, and silk screens for printing. I am attracted to 2-D form as it allows the viewer to completely engage in my work with their thoughts and feelings while being stationary.
I seek to spread positive inspiration for changes in the consciousness of the world through ideas surrounding optimal health through a natural existence, individual confidence in purpose, and the elimination of drug abuse.
A portion of my work contains subjects or found objects that would otherwise be cast aside, asking the viewer to take another look into a new perspective that hopefully will ripple outward infinitly.
